Clocks changed this past weekend here in the US, which means one less hour to read … does anybody else begrudge that hour like I do? Wish the Powers That Be would just pick a time-frame and stick to it instead of inflicting clock-driven jet lag on an innocent public twice a year?

(Yeah, so not a question so much about reading … except, of course, you do need to use your electric light to be able to read, so the hour it gets dark IS relevant!)

First off let me be very clear when I say…I HATE the spring forward part of daylight savings time. I don’t care about it getting light earlier, or staying light longer…never have.  I do begrudge losing that hour, and I would be quite happy if daylight savings time just disappeared altogether. I mean…c’mon…that’s one less hour with my current book boyfriend, or if I’m doing a re-read it’s an hour lost with a favorite book boyfriend. Either way, it doesn’t make me happy.

I may be in the minority on this question, cuz I know lots of peeps love the longer daylight hours. Hmmm…maybe I’m really part vampire, or some other creature which looks forward to the dark

Our question this week comes from the fabulous Shannon at Cocktails and Books, and goes well with our 69th follow post! Question: What 3 book boyfriends would you engage in activities that include 6 and 9?

Okay…seriously peeps…there is no way on God’s green earth that I’m able to only pick three book boyfriends to participate in 6 and 9 activities with. It’s just not happening. I have like twenty cough50 or60cough  book boyfriends that would have no need to persuade me on this subject. Having said that I won’t list them all…you’re all smart…you’re all capable of figuring out based on previous posts I’ve done exactly who belongs on my list.

So, I’ll be good…I won’t cheat… I’ll share 3. Not because I want to and not because 3 is a favorite number, but because it seems a little less greedy. I have no shame in admitting I’m greedy when it comes to my book boyfriends. If y’all want to be faithful to just one, two or three…have at it.  For me, part of the fantasy and wonder of book boyfriends is that you can have as many as you want…and it’s ok. Have a favorite?!? Me too…that’s fine, but ladies…c’mon…don’t limit yourselves…there are endless opportunities in the literary world. I know that…you know that…and your favorite author(s) know that.

Alright…down to business…

1) No list of anything relating to book boyfriends of mine would ever be complete if it didn’t include Gabriel Emerson from the Gabriel series by Sylvain Reynard. He’s definitely my type physically speaking, he’s smart in an academic way, he knows how to make the grand gestures of all grand gestures, and the man has talent in the bedroom…he says so himself and I believe him. He may not always make the best or the right decisions, but that’s a discussion for another day. I have no doubt that among his many …erm…talents… the Professor has mad skillz with 6′s and 9′s. Nuff said…

2) Kellan Kyle of the Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens may have a sweetness about him that melts my heart, but where women are concerned?!? Don’t kid yourselves ladies…this guy has been around…A LOT. Yeah, he was looking for something to fill him up, make him feel loved, and he sought that through sex. Lots and lots of sex to be honest, and since the women he had seemed to enjoy him…wanted more knowing that was all it was…I gotta think he was pretty satisfying in that department. Yup…I’m 100% sure that Kellan knows his way around 6′s and 9′s…and loves it.

3) Just about any of the male characters in any Kristen Ashley book.  Do I have any favorites among so many?!? You bet I do, but no way am I limiting myself to just one, or even a few. Greedy remember? They are just that good. Not only do they enjoy 6′s and 9′s…they relish them…they’re enthusiastic about it. In fact…they’re frequently enthusiastic about it…do you understand what I’m saying here?!? They are also honest about it, not embarrassed to admit it, and they aren’t shy about sharing that information. These guys have a language all their own, and having read so many of the books it’s a language I’ve come to love…yeah?

The Marriage to A Billionaire Series by Jennifer Probst.

This series is awesome! Each installment is sexy and witty and you can’t but fall in love with the characters’ stories! Nick, Michael Conte and Max Grey are all among my book boyfriends and seeing them on screen? I’d melt away. No doubt about it. Yes, I’d love to see movies based on this series!

Oh and Jennifer Probst is currently writing the forth installment, The Marriage Merger. Can’t wait to read it!

Reckless by S.C. Stephens.

This is the last book of the Thoughtless series and I have to say it’s my favorite among all three. A perfect closure to the wonderful  story of Kellan and Keira and I’d love to see it adapted on screen, alongside the other two of course (I talked about them here) !

The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay

One of the most emotional stories I’ve ever read, The Sea Of Tranquility is a must read and it’s one of those books that stay with you. A powerful story about love and second chances. A movie based on it? Yes, please!

Overseas by Beatriz Williams

I LOVED this story! It has everything–romance, passion, mystery, danger. I think it’ d be a movie that would appeal to a wide range of viewers! I’ll definitely buy my ticket

Hello peeps! We meet again! Tuesdays are way better than any days yes?! So by now you all knew I’m a sucker to a man with tattoos and with a mesmerizing eyes. So I found this guy who has been molested and ogled by my friend on her iPhone’s screen.LMAO I figured why not feature him on today’s eye candy.

Question of the Week: You just walked into your bedroom to find your favorite book boyfriend lying on your bed with three naughty gifts. Who is it and what are they?

Well, well…this is a fun question to contemplate isn’t it?

I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many favorite book boyfriends…it seems so unfair to make me choose just one…that was the same reaction that Gel had when I asked her and Elena the question. I was wavering between two choices in book boyfriends, but then when I got the responses back from them it became clear which one I’d feature. Why?!? Because, separately we had the same guy on our minds…so here is the answer from all three of us…

Tamie: Professor Gabriel Emerson…Mmmm…I love just saying his name…it’s the kind of name that for me conjures up sensuality and sexuality, and he is definitely ALL THAT! He’s a skilled and giving lover, and a man who knows what he wants <— that right there?!? That’s hot. He’s also a man who can do both the extravagant as well as the simple when it comes to gifts…whether they’re naughty gifts or not. One last thought before I name my naughty gifts…If I walked into my bedroom and Gabriel was on my bed?!? That alone would be good enough cuz I’m absolutely certain we could do all kinds of naughty without any gifts…KWIM?!?

Ethan: Well I am newer to Twitter so I haven’t gotten too much craziness yet.

Paul: I get a lot of requests for sex from both sexes & people saying they will be able to find the real me. Errr,  no you won’t.  Constant requests for photos of RL me & wanting to know what my job is. Oh, and there’s always the ones who think they own you and should only talk to them.

Thomas: The shit they would do to me and to come meet them shortly after talking.

Cash: I was asked if I was actually Cash Davenport.

Susi:   Wow, your fans can be a little scary eh? How many hours of your own time do you dedicate to Twitter?

Ethan: I think too much sometimes…but I’m not on there as much as I should be.

Paul: As much as I feel like, some days it’s hilarious on Twitter, other days it’s a bit of a downer. Generally I guess 2-3 hours per evening and a bit through the day if I can.

Thomas: Varies a few hours. Some days, I just don’t have it.

Susi:  Do you RP because you are close to an author or because you simply enjoy it?

Ethan: I actually agreed to do this as a favor to a friend, I’ve never done RP before but I am finding I love it.

Paul: I’m very close with the author and I do this as a favor to her.

Thomas: A friend asked me to do it and I now enjoy most of it.

Susi:  Do you think that RP helps boost sales of books? Your opinion.

Ethan: Yes in a way but I think no matter if we were here or not, these books would sell just fine!

Paul: I’ve witnessed the book sales increase since it had a Twitter presence.

Thomas: Yes I would say so, some girls go get the books after talking to us.

Susi:  So I am curious, do any of you cook?

Ethan: I love to cook/grill.

Paul: I cook, badly.

Thomas: Yes, I can cook.

Susi:  Most of your fans love to read all about you.  Do you like to read?

Ethan: I do, but the book has to interest me.

Paul: I do read. I actually read books too!

Thomas: Yes, when I have time.

Susi:  See ladies, they like to read too.  What do you enjoy reading?

Ethan: I can read anything. Yes, I have read FSOG I was told to read it cause it is a manual for guys!

Paul: I mainly like books that keep me on the edge or make me chuckle but usually I’ll read anything I can get my hands on. No, haven’t read FSOG.

Thomas: Mostly the paper and when I have time I read political books, a mystery maybe.

Susi:  Blondes or Brunettes?  Any preference?

Ethan:  Brunette

Paul: I don’t care, a sexy smile and a throaty laugh will get me every time.

Thomas: I like both but seem to favor brunettes.

Susi:  Ok, I had to ask this… It wouldn’t be a good interview without knowing.  What’s your favorite position? 

Ethan: From behind or reverse cowgirl.

Paul: On my knees, her on my lap, holding tight, everything is accessible that way.

Thomas: Ha ha, there is not a position I don’t like but I like a girl on top or her on bottom, legs slung over my shoulders.

Welcome to our second discussion of the Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay. Let’s see what happens in these chapters…

In these chapters we discover that Josh lost his mother and young sister in a car accident, and he says how much he hates everyone pitying him for this. Thoughts? How would you have treated Josh if you knew this fact about his past?

Elena: Knowing what Josh has been through tugs at my heartstrings. From what we’ve seen of the other people’s behavior toward him, I believe they’re showing a false pity, and I think that’s why he hates it so much. The best way to show him support would be willing to listen to him, and genuinely care about him. The “I’m sorry”s aren’t always genuine.

Tamie: Learning what Josh has been through… all I can think is what an amazing person he is. To handle all he has at such a young age is heartbreaking.  I get what he means about hating the pity, so I hope I would’ve been the kind of friend he needed me to be.

We’re introduced to a new character – Clay. What is your opinion of him at this point of the novel?

Elena: We don’t know much about him yet, but he seems to be a very interesting character. He’s different from the others, and it seems Josh is more comfortable with him. Can’t wait to learn more about him.

Tamie: I’m always fascinated by quirky characters wanting to know more about them…Clay is intriguing, so I’m very interested to see how he’ll be incorporated into the story.

Josh is clearly interested in the drawing Clay is doing of Nastya. Did you expect him to show this interest? Why or why not?

Elena: Well, that was interesting and telling, in my opinion. Josh isn’t indifferent to Nastya and this just proves it. Something about her attracts him, but he’s not aware of it yet.

Tamie: I agree, Elena…he’s definitely not indifferent.

We learn that Nastya used to be a piano player, before something terrible happened to her hand (but we don’t know what exactly happened yet) She says that since then she avoids everything that has to do with music. What do you think of this? Is this a good decision?

Elena: When faced with pain, everyone has his own coping mechanisms. Nastya decided to cut ties with everything that has to do with music, in order to survive the pain of not being able to play anymore. I can’t say if this is a good decision or not, because I don’t know how I’d feel like if I were her. Thing is that everyone copes with grief differently.

Tamie: I’m not sure this is a good thing. Is avoidance really a healthy coping mechanism? I would say it probably prolongs the emotional suffering, but sometimes when something devastating happens it’s the way many of us choose to deal with things.

In these chapters Josh and Nastya seem to be very awkward around each other. Why do you think that is?

Elena: I think this is a clear sign they’re both attracted to each other, but they don’t want to admit it yet. Maybe they don’t even know it themselves.

Tamie: I think they both have a curiosity about each other…they realize they each have demons they’re struggling with, and an attraction to each other is something neither is looking for but is happening just the same.

Nastya visits Josh’s garage and she speaks for the first time. Thoughts? Why do you think she decided to start talking and especially to him?

Elena: She definitely surprised me. I honestly don’t know why she chose that moment to speak up. I think she did it with Josh, because deep inside she feels connected to him. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.

Tamie: Whoa! I was truly surprised and happy about it. I’m really enjoying the slow and cautious way these two are progressing.

Elena and Tamie: ” I feel like grabbing my crotch and checking to see if my balls are still there, because I think they may be in her pocket and I need to get them back. Today I start a series of posts where I talk about my favorite fictional crushes. You know those male characters you can’t stop thinking about, that make you swoon with their words and weak at the knees? Yes, those ones

Today I’ll talk about two of my most favorites: Gabriel Emerson from the Gabriel’s Inferno series by Sylvain Reynard and Dean Holder from Hopeless and Losing Hope by Colleen Hoover.

Why do I love Gabriel?
I think there aren’t enough words to say why I ADORE this character so much. He’s sexy beyond words, his sensuality makes your heart beat at an impossible rhythm, and he knows what women want.
He puts Julia’s needs above his own, and his number one concern is to please her, protect her, and make her happy. He makes mistakes and he has his flaws, of course, but he wants to repair the wrongs he’s done and find forgiveness.

One of my favorite scenes involving Gabriel: Those who’ve read the series, surely remember the scene where Gabriel confesses his past to Julia…This is one of my favorite scenes, because we really see Gabriel’s heart in this one– his tough and confident façade crumbles and we see a man who’s deeply sorry for what he’s done in the past, and desperately wants to feel worthy of love and forgiveness.

Why do I love Holder?

Sky says he’s “the best boyfriend in the whole wide world” and indeed he’s one of the best and most swoon worthy characters I’ve read about out. Not only is he handsome, but he’s so very caring and loving towards Sky. He’s been through so much pain and heartache, but despite all that, he still finds the strength to stay close to Sky, when the big revelation is made…He loves her unconditionally and He never leaves her side, and he’s always ready to support her, even in the most dreadful moments. And the words he says to Sky…No matter how many times I read them, I always melt.

One of my favorite scenes involving Holder: The shower scene…I fell in love with him even more in this one.

Why do I love Kellan?

Kellan is impossible to resist with his charm and compelling personality. He’s an awesome musician, and he falls in love with Keira from the very first moment he lays eyes on her. He wants her badly, and he’ll do anything to win her over. He’s not a amn who gives up easily and he’s capable of loving with all his heart. He doesn’t feel worthy of love, though, because of what he went through in his childhood, and all you want to do is hug him, kiss him, and tell him how awesome a guy he is.

Why do I love Lucas?

Lucas is definitely one of my all time favorite fictional characters. First of all he’s extremely intelligent and this is all kinds of swoonworthy. He’s also very handsome and his magnetism pulls you in. He knows how to defend and protect his girl – in fact he meets Jacqueline when he saves her from Buck, her aggressor, and all he wants to do is keep her safe. And he also knows how to sketch…oh my…

Why do I love Carmine?

Seriously, who doesn’t love Carmine? If you read Sempre, you’re bound to fall in love with him. He’s handsome with dark hair and green eyes that are mesmerizing. He’s brave and courageous. He seems cynic at the beginning, but that’s because he’s been deeply wounded by life. But when he meets Haven, and falls in love with her, he changes for her. He leaves his old self behind and wants to give her a life made of opportunities, love, and most of all freedom.

Why do I love Ryan?

Ryan is another of those characters who combine intelligence and sexiness (I do love men that are both intelligent and handsome ) He’s a swoonworthy doctor and he loves his Julia to bits. He always finds time to be with her, even when distance seems to force them apart. The words he says to Julia melt your heart, and he always stands by her, even when things get tough and he has to make her fall in love with him all over again…

Why do I love Dylan?

Dylan is Amazing with a capital A. He’s handsome beyond words and he’s a former soldier. He fought in Afghanistan and the horrors he witnessed made him realize how precious and short life is. Dylan loves Alex with all his heart, but he’s afraid his past and his PTSD will ruin her life. He proves to be a character with a very deep and beautiful soul and you can’t but fall in love with him. He loves Alex more than life itself, as he says, and he wants her to be happy.

Welcome to another post where I share with you my love for my favorite book boyfriends. Sharing is caring, right? ;) Well, today I’ll talk about two amazing men. Actually “amazing” doesn’t even begin to cover it. They are two characters that are bound to conquer the heart of every reader: Ignazio Vitale from Monster in His Eyes by JM Darhower and Aidan Donnelly from Waiting For You by Heather Huffman

My Ignazio Vitale: Michael Fassbender

Why I love Ignazio:

Ignazio is a very special character, one of a kind. From the very beginning, we sense there might be something sinister surrounding him, but we don’t know what it is. Despite the unease, you’re bound to be seduced by him. He’s like a hunter pouncing on its prey, that offers herself to him willingly. He’s enigmatic, passionate, dangerous, but vulnerable at the same time. He says he’s not a good man, but is it really so? He’s a multilayered character you get to know little but little. And yet, you feel you never know him, because he surprises you every time. I so can’t wait to read more about him in Torture in Her Soul.

Okay so today I have these scruffy looking hotties in a parade for all of you. I hope that’s okay.
